FAQ

Questions about Prepsted.

Clear answers for schools and trusts considering the platform.

What is Prepsted?

Prepsted is an inspection-readiness platform for schools and trusts. It combines framework guidance, professional evaluation, next-step tracking, reporting and SEF preparation.

Who is it designed for?

Prepsted is designed for school leaders, governors, executive headteachers, trust leaders and central school-improvement teams.

Does Prepsted guarantee an inspection outcome?

No. Prepsted supports professional evaluation and preparation. It cannot predict or guarantee an inspector’s judgement.

Will it create additional workload?

The platform is designed to reduce duplication. It organises leadership thinking and actions rather than requiring schools to build artificial evidence files.

Can a trust use Prepsted across several schools?

Yes. Trust subscriptions include trust-wide oversight, school-level access, reporting and controlled multi-school access for executive leaders.

Can executive headteachers access more than one school?

Yes. Trust leaders or Prepsted administrators can assign an executive leader access to the specific schools they lead.

Can we upload our previous inspection report?

Yes. Prepsted can store and analyse a previous report so leaders can track progress against its next steps.

Can Prepsted create a school self-evaluation?

Yes. The SEF workflow draws from judgements and evidence already recorded in Prepsted, while allowing leaders to edit the final narrative.

How is access controlled?

Role-based permissions limit users to the schools and functions they are authorised to access.

How do we arrange a demonstration?

Use the contact form and tell us whether you are enquiring for a school or trust. We will arrange a tailored demonstration.
